Katakomben is a specialist extreme metal record shop in central Oslo, focused on underground-heavy genres such as black metal and death metal. It is run as a joint project by the record labels No Posers Please!, Duplicate Records, and Apocalyptic Empire Records, and stocks physical releases (especially LPs and CDs) alongside metal merchandise – like t-shirts, patches, magazines and much more. Katakomben opened in 2015 and has since been promoted as a dedicated “metal-only” shop and a known stop for collectors visiting Oslo’s heavier music circuit.
