Revólver Records is an independent record store located at Carrer dels Tallers 11 in the El Raval neighbourhood of Barcelona, Spain. It was established in the late 1990s by Jesús Moreno, who had previously co-founded Discos Revólver with Alfons Sureda in December 1991. After selling his share of the original business in 1997, Moreno opened a second shop nearby, initially concentrating on rare records, collectors’ editions and music from the 1960s and 1970s. The new establishment became known as the Green Revólver, distinguishing it from the original Red Revólver at number 13. Although Moreno later became a co-owner of both businesses, they operated independently. The original shop closed in July 2025 after more than three decades, while Revólver Records continued trading.

The shop specialises in vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, singles, box sets and other physical music formats, with a considerable selection of new, second-hand and imported releases. Its catalogue covers heavy metal, hard rock, punk, progressive rock, garage rock, alternative rock, indie, country and numerous other genres. The collection includes both established artists and lesser-known bands, with particular attention given to independent labels and recordings that are difficult to obtain through mainstream retailers. Heavy metal and punk became important parts of the catalogue as the business expanded beyond its original focus on collectors’ records.

Revólver Records occupies a relatively narrow, multi-level shop, with shelves and display racks packed with CDs, vinyl records and music memorabilia. The upper floor contains additional record collections, including a substantial second-hand vinyl section. The interior features band posters, album artwork and music-related decorations, including a large Kiss mural. The shop also buys used record collections and operates an online store. Carrer dels Tallers was once home to numerous record shops and musical instrument retailers, although many have disappeared over the years. Revólver Records remains one of the surviving businesses from the street’s longstanding association with Barcelona’s independent music scene.
