TJØME

The village of Tjøme lies at the heart of the island of the same name in Færder municipality, Vestfold, southern Norway. With a population of around 2,900 (2023), it forms the island’s main built-up area, stretching from Ormelet in the south to Holtekjær in the north.

Tjøme is connected to the mainland by road, and part of the settlement even extends onto the neighbouring island of Brøtsø, linked by the Røssesund Bridge. The area is known for its coastal scenery, summer tourism, and easy access to beaches and hiking routes along the archipelago.
