Ace Frehley (1951–2025), the original Kiss guitarist, was laid to rest in the Bronx following a private service, with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery near his parents, per his wishes. He was buried on Wednesday 22 October 2025 after a private memorial on Tuesday 21 October at the Sinatra Memorial Home in Yonkers, attended by family, close friends and Kiss co-founders Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley and Peter Criss. On 25 September 2025 Frehley suffered a fall in his home studio and cancelled tour dates; on 16 October TMZ reported he was on life support with a brain bleed. He died in Morristown, New Jersey, aged 74, several hours after life support was withdrawn.
