James Hetfeeld’s Pub is a rock-themed, American-style bar whose tongue-in-cheek name riffs on Metallica’s frontman (no official affiliation). Expect mainstream rock/metal playlists, big-screen sports, draught beer and a street-side terrace. The menu runs to reasonably priced pub food with Metallica-pun dish names such as “Nothing Else Meat-ers,” “For Whom the Meat Tolls,” “Master of Poulettes,” “Chicken Destroy,” and “Enter Salmon.” There’s also a small basement stage for occasional gigs. Typical hours run from late morning until very late. Nearest Métro stops include Grands Boulevards or Pigalle, depending on the location. For tonight’s hours, events and any temporary closures, check recent venue posts and crowd-sourced listings.
