In 1975, Kiss released their third studio album; “Dressed to Kill”. The photograph of the band on the album cover was taken on the southwest corner of W 23rd Street and 8th Avenue looking North in New York City. Often just called the “Kiss Corner”, and NYC locals shred proposal to rename street corner to this in 2024. In the famous photo taken by Bob Gruen, we can see Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley resting his foot against a lamppost. The streets look a bit different today from back then. The lamppost is close to a store called The Vitamin Shoppe now. On the other side of the road, you can see Dallas BBQ Chelsea.
