HIGH VOLTAGE ROCKFEST

High Voltage Rockfest is a rock festival in Bergen, Norway, held at Vestlandshallen in Åsane. The festival is scheduled to take place for the first time on 4 and 5 September 2026, giving Bergen a new indoor festival built around hard rock, classic rock and heavy guitar music.

The festival takes its name from AC/DC’s album “High Voltage” and is centred on loud, riff-driven rock rather than the more extreme side of metal. The first edition is planned as a two-day event with local and international bands on one stage.

The 2026 line-up includes Airbourne, D-A-D, Brian Downey/Thin Lizzy, Leprous, Eclipse, Frog Leap, Pil & Bue, Bokassa, Electric High, Sleggefett, Kardang and Morax, as well as the winner of Shock the Stage. This gives the festival a broad rock profile, from classic hard rock and melodic rock to heavier Norwegian acts.

Vestlandshallen gives High Voltage Rockfest a large indoor arena setting in the Åsane district, north of Bergen city centre. The venue has previously hosted major international artists, including Iron Maiden, Guns N’ Roses, Prince, Santana, Depeche Mode and 50 Cent, but has not been used regularly as a rock festival site in recent years.
