Liquid Rock is a hard rock and heavy metal bar in Budapest, Hungary, spread across three floors. Mind you that the basement floor can be hard to notice. The music consists of hard rock and heavy metal, with bands such as AC/DC, Motörhead, Iron Maiden, KISS, Metallica and Queen regularly appearing on the playlist. The pub opened its doors in 2014, right at the corner of Rákóczi and Síp Street in Budapest’s 7th district.
The drinks selection is one of the bar’s most distinctive features. Beer includes officially licensed products such as Iron Maiden’s Trooper and AC/DC Pils, while the spirits shelf contains an unusually large number of artist-branded bottles. These include AC/DC Thunderstruck, Judas Priest Firepower Rum, KISS Cold Gin, Motörhead Whisky, Rammstein Gin, Scorpions Single Malt and Slipknot No. 9 Whiskey. These are official products associated with the artists rather than house drinks simply borrowing band names.
In August 2025, Liquid Rock expanded beyond Budapest with the opening of a second bar in Dresden, Germany, operated by Kristóf Kovács and based on the same old-school rock and metal concept as the original.
