Midgard Bar is a rock bar in Prague, Czech Republic. Located in the Nusle area, close to Vyšehrad, it is a small basement bar with a Norse-inspired identity.
The entrance is modest, marked by a skull with animal horns, while the bar itself is set in a brick cellar-like room. The interior decoration is relatively restrained, but the theme is carried through with Viking and Norse details rather than standard rock-bar clutter.
Midgard Bar functions mainly as a drinking bar, with beer, spirits, food and a selection that includes aquavit, fitting the Nordic theme. The name, cellar setting and Viking references give the place a small tavern-like atmosphere.
The bar also hosts occasional small-scale events, but the space is limited. These are better understood as intimate acoustic performances, readings or social gatherings rather than full concerts.
