Rockaholic is a metal bar located in the Shibuya area of Tokyo, and it’s actually quite spacious. The bar has been around for a while, having started in 2010. Here, you can use post-it notes to submit song requests, which then appear on a screen playing the corresponding music video. We make sure to use these notes as much as possible, as there’s another group in the venue that loves nu-metal and bubblegum punk. This means the music here varies a lot depending on the requests. The drink menu is quite exciting, featuring several metal-themed beer brands. The bartenders are really friendly and ensure we’re well looked after the entire time.
