Paule’s Metal Eck is a heavy metal bar in Friedrichshain, Berlin, Germany. Located near Simon-Dach-Straße, it has been part of Berlin’s metal nightlife since 1996 and is one of the city’s longest-running dedicated heavy metal pubs.
The bar has a dark, old-school metal atmosphere, with skulls, demonic figures, red-and-black lighting and a music profile aimed at fans of heavier rock and metal. Its décor includes a giant executioner figure above the exit door, along with busts of Eddie from Iron Maiden and Lemmy from Motörhead.
Paule’s Metal Eck offers a large selection of draft beer, bottled beer, whisky, spirits, long drinks and cocktails, as well as table football, billiards and darts. Its identity is built around drinking, heavy music, metal décor and social pub culture rather than live concerts, making it one of Berlin’s clearest traditional metal bars.
