Quantic Pub, also commonly known as Quantic Club, is a rock pub, restaurant, terrace and live music venue in Bucharest, Romania. Located on Șoseaua Grozăvești in Sector 6, it has become one of the city’s main places for rock, metal and alternative concerts.
Quantic began on a much smaller scale, with a garden, around twenty tables and a makeshift stage used for a small number of metal concerts each year. It later grew into a larger venue complex with an indoor club, pub, food service and a substantial outdoor terrace.
The indoor club has a capacity of around 1,000 people, while the terrace and surrounding grounds allow Quantic to host larger outdoor events and festival-style gatherings. Food and a full bar are available independently of concerts, so the venue also functions as a rock pub on non-concert days.
The programme covers rock, metal, punk, alternative, folk, blues, hip-hop and other genres. Metal is especially visible through recurring events and festivals such as Metal Gates Festival, Old Grave Fest, Bucharest Deathfest, Underground for the Masses and QFest.
Quantic has hosted both local Romanian bands and international touring acts. Artists and events connected to the venue include Arkona, Death to All, Green Carnation, Vulture Industries, Sear Bliss, Mayhem, Marduk, Autopsy, Deströyer 666, Onslaught and Slough Feg, as well as the Romanian final of Wacken Metal Battle.
The venue also has a visible biker connection, with motorcyclists forming part of the crowd and events such as Iubim 2Roți taking place at Quantic. Its mix of indoor concerts, outdoor terrace, food, drinks, festivals and rock-club atmosphere gives it a major role in Bucharest’s heavy music scene.
