Rockbar Örebro is a rock bar, restaurant and small live music venue at Kyrkogatan 2 in central Örebro, Sweden. Opened in early 2026, it combines a bar and restaurant with regular concerts, DJ nights and other events. Rock, punk and metal form the central musical profile, ranging from classic and alternative rock to traditional heavy metal, doom, stoner and heavier underground styles.
The premises previously housed the Lebanese restaurant Ummy. When that business closed, the operators announced that they would remain at the same address but replace the restaurant with a new rock-bar concept. Rockbar was operating by March 2026 and subsequently established a regular programme of live music alongside its food and bar service. The venue also incorporates entertainment such as casino games and occasional karaoke rather than functioning solely as a concert club.
Live music quickly became an important part of the operation. The first year included concerts by Swedish bands such as Midnatt, Witch Eater and My Disease, while international touring acts included British punk and pub-rock veterans Eddie & the Hot Rods and New York hard rock band Spread Eagle. Swedish power and heavy metal band Tungsten was also booked for the venue, illustrating a programme extending beyond general rock into dedicated metal shows.
Rockbar also works with independent promoters and local music organisations. Klubb Overdrive has used the venue for hard rock and metal events, while Death Valley Productions has presented doom and stoner metal concerts there. During Live at Heart, Örebro’s annual multi-venue music festival, Rockbar served as one of the participating stages in 2026. The combination of regular bar activity and a growing concert schedule has established Rockbar as a new small-scale addition to Örebro’s rock and metal scene.
