Rumpan Rockbar is a rock bar, restaurant and small live music venue at Kungsgatan 72 in Norrköping, Sweden. Also known simply as Rumpan Bar, it combines a rock-oriented bar with concerts, food, karaoke, arcade games and other social activities. Rock and metal are central to the musical profile, alongside punk, hardcore and other alternative styles.

The venue is divided between the bar and several activity areas. In addition to serving burgers and other pub food, Rumpan has an arcade section with classic games and has also offered board games, boule and other activities. Karaoke and regular jam sessions are recurring parts of the programme, including open rock jams where local musicians can take part.

Live music has become an important part of Rumpan’s identity, with a dedicated stage used for local bands and touring acts. Punk, hardcore and metal are particularly well represented. Swedish hardcore veterans First In Line were among the bands to inaugurate the live club, while later bookings have included Rövsvett, Wolfcross, Gluttony, Övervåld, Centinex, Creeping Flesh, Svederna, Godhead Machinery, Deville and Doomherre. The programme ranges from traditional heavy metal and hard rock to death metal, black metal, doom, sludge and hardcore punk.

Rumpan also works with outside promoters and organisations, including Studiefrämjandet. During Norrköping’s annual Augustifesten, the bar has hosted several local bands over consecutive evenings, followed by late-night karaoke. With its combination of regular bar activity, social events and underground concerts, Rumpan Rockbar has established itself as a distinctive part of Norrköping’s rock and metal scene.
