The Krypt Spooky Bar & Stage is an independent horror-themed bar and live music venue at Pärnu maantee 19 in central Tallinn, Estonia, close to Vabaduse väljak. Opened in 2024, the club focuses strongly on rock, metal, punk, industrial and other forms of alternative and underground music. It describes itself as the only horror-themed bar in the Baltic states and combines its regular bar operation with concerts, afterparties and other events.

The horror theme is a permanent part of the venue’s identity. The dark interior and macabre decoration create a setting that fits naturally with its music programme, while the club also hosts vintage horror-film screenings, dance performances, markets and other events connected with alternative culture. The venue is independently operated and self-funded, and was created by musicians with the aim of providing a dedicated space for Tallinn’s underground scene.

Metal is a major part of The Krypt’s programme. Death, black, thrash, doom, folk and industrial metal appear regularly alongside punk, hardcore and alternative rock. International artists appearing at the club have included Midnight Odyssey, Barbatos, Torsofuck and Dead Shape Figure, while Estonian underground bands make up a large part of the calendar. Recurring events such as Metal Saturday, Heavy Friday and dedicated black metal nights give local bands a regular stage alongside visiting international acts.

The Krypt is also closely connected with Sügis Productions, which promotes many of the venue’s concerts and organises Sügis Extreme Fest. The two-day festival focuses on underground black, death, doom and other forms of extreme metal and has been held at The Krypt since the venue opened. By 2026, the club had already hosted hundreds of events, while The Krypt and Sügis Productions had received Rock FM Estonia’s Aasta Korraldaja award for their work with rock and metal.
