Rockbar Inc. is a rock bar and live music venue at 4245 North Craftsman Court in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona. The bar opened during Thanksgiving weekend in November 2011 and was founded by Brian Mrochinski and Alex Mundy. The pair invested approximately $500,000 in converting the former Acme Bar & Grill into a venue centred on rock music, with live bands and DJs playing rock, punk, hard rock and heavy metal.

The two-storey building has a brick exterior and a dark interior with wooden panelling, leather booths, neon signs and extensive rock memorabilia. Large photographs of musicians such as Dave Grohl, Perry Farrell and Billy Idol decorate the walls alongside guitars, concert posters and autographed drumheads.

The ground floor contains the main bar and an elevated stage used for live performances. Upstairs is a second bar, a pool table and a large rooftop terrace with additional seating. Television screens throughout the venue show music videos as well as sporting events.

Rockbar has hosted numerous local and touring bands, including The Black Moods, Howitzer and The Dead Eyes of London. The concert programme has traditionally focused on hard rock, alternative rock and punk, with heavier metal acts also appearing. In 2017, readers of Phoenix New Times voted Rockbar the best rock club in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Sports have also become an important part of the venue’s identity. Since 2014, Rockbar has been the home of EaglesWest, an Arizona-based supporters’ club for the Philadelphia Eagles. NFL game days regularly bring Eagles colours and supporters into the bar, adding a strong sports following alongside the established live music programme.
