Metal Gates Festival is an indoor metal festival held in Bucharest, Romania. It has been staged at Club Quantic and is centred on a programme of extreme and melodic metal, bringing together Romanian and international bands. The festival has been running since 2017, and as been running steady until 2026 when they went for a break.
The festival is closely associated with Quantic, one of Bucharest’s best-known alternative live music venues. Metal Gates Festival has established itself as one of the more prominent dedicated metal events in Bucharest and is often presented as one of Romania’s major indoor metal festivals.
