Pro’Rock Pub is a rock pub in Gdańsk, Poland. Located in the Oliwa district, directly by Gdańsk Oliwa railway station, it is a local rock bar with roots in the former RockOut venue. The pub is aimed at rock fans, hard rockers and metalheads, with rock music, karaoke, beer, events and occasional concerts as part of its identity.
The building gives the pub an unusual first impression. From the outside it looks more like a regular brick house than a nightlife venue, with fencing around the property and a discreet entrance best spotted from the railway platform side, where the Pro’Rock sign is visible. Inside, the décor is sparse and informal, with worn tables and chairs and several tables made from stacked pallets.
Pro’Rock Pub also has an outdoor garden area, giving the place a more relaxed social character despite the railway tracks running directly outside the fence. With its bottle beer selection, rock soundtrack, rough-edged interior and slightly hidden station-side location, Pro’Rock Pub has a distinct identity within Gdańsk’s local rock nightlife.
