Rattlesnake Vienna is a punk, metal, rock and alternative store in Vienna, Austria. Located in the Neubau district, close to Mariahilfer Straße, the shop has been active since 1989 and is one of Vienna’s long-running specialist stores for band merchandise and alternative fashion.
The store sells officially licensed band shirts, clothing, footwear, accessories and fashion connected to punk, metal, indie, gothic and rock culture. It also includes a walk-in piercing studio and has hosted meet-and-greets and in-store events. The shop is relatively large and spread over two floors, with music merchandise placed alongside film-related items and other pop-culture products.
Rattlesnake also has a strong memorabilia element. Several signed guitars are displayed in the shop with authenticity labels, including instruments connected to Metallica, Korn, Guns N’ Roses, Ramones, Van Halen, Sex Pistols and others. Another notable item is a Metallica skateboard signed by Metallica and Tony Alva.
