Dr. Feelgood – Rock Beer Temple is a rock and heavy metal bar at 34 Rue Keller in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, France. Established in September 2012 by David Lefebvre and Christophe Le Gal, the bar combines a broad rock and metal profile with a strong interest in craft beer.
The music ranges from classic rock and hard rock to glam metal, thrash metal and black metal. DJ nights, album listening sessions, quizzes and other music-related events form a regular part of the programme, with different evenings focusing on particular bands or styles.
The interior is densely decorated with electric guitars, concert posters, photographs and other rock and metal memorabilia. Colourful lighting gives the relatively small room a strong visual character, while a pinball machine provides another distinctive feature.
One of the most prominent decorations is a large illuminated stained-glass-style portrait of Ozzy Osbourne, unveiled on 24 July 2026. Based on an illustration by Siamh and developed with Iann Lewis, the artwork depicts Ozzy as a kind of patron saint overlooking the rear of the bar. It was inspired by the illuminated Lemmy Kilmister tribute installed at Dr. Feelgood Rocket nearby.
Beer is equally important to the identity of the bar. Several rotating craft beers are available on tap, while refrigerated cabinets contain a much larger selection of bottled and canned beer. The range changes regularly and includes French and international breweries alongside different beer styles.
Dr. Feelgood has also hosted events connected directly with metal bands and new releases. French metal band Dreamcatcher held a video premiere at the bar in October 2023. On 30 April 2026, it was one of a small number of venues worldwide selected to host an official listening event for Venom’s album “Into Oblivion”, one day before the album was released.
Dr. Feelgood – Rock Beer Temple should not be confused with Dr. Feelgood Rocket at 74 Rue de la Roquette, around the corner. Despite the shared Dr. Feelgood name and similar rock and metal identity, the two bars operate separately.
