Helitehas is a concert venue and club at Madara 22a in Tallinn, Estonia. Opened under the Helitehas name in 2019, it occupies a former industrial building and has a maximum capacity of around 1,500 people. The main floor accommodates roughly 1,100, with space for another 400 across two balcony levels. The venue has four bars, including separate bars on the balconies, and a permanent stage measuring around 13 metres wide with an L-Acoustics sound system.
The building had already been used for concerts and club events before the Helitehas name was introduced. It previously operated as Factory, and performances from that period remain part of the venue’s history. These included electronic artists such as Skrillex and Paul van Dyk during the mid-2010s. The present Helitehas company was established in September 2019 at the same Madara 22a address.
Metal forms a substantial part of the programme. Bands appearing at Helitehas have included Sabaton, Accept, In Flames, Opeth, U.D.O., Clawfinger, Behemoth, Ministry, Stratovarius, Kataklysm, Aborted, Korpiklaani, Eluveitie, Lacuna Coil and Mustasch, as well as Estonian folk metal band Metsatöll. Punk and hardcore also appear regularly alongside electronic music, hip-hop and other touring acts.
The building retains a strong industrial character, with a large open hall, concrete floor and broad balcony structure. The two balcony levels overlook the main concert floor and provide additional viewing areas around the room.
